This is a photograph taken on the Exchange Station car park in Manchester in May 1992 at the start of the Manchester to Blackpool Veteran and Vintage Car Run organised by the Lancashire Automobile Club.

It's a 1929 Lagonda 3 litre Tourer, but apart from the fact that it was entered in the run by Tom Sharples of New Longton, Preston, there's no other information in the programme of the event about this car. According to the list of models in the Wikipedia article about Lagonda, it's got a 2931cc ohv 6-cylinder engine and 570 of these cars were made between 1928 and 1934.
