Friday's Ferrari

This is a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.

It's a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and has a 6,262cc V12 Ferrari F140 FC engine with an output of 740PS at 8,250 rpm. It was in production from 2012 to 2017.

Friday's Ferrari

I took this photograph at Club Corner during the Corse Clienti Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli race at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's the Ferrari 488 Challenge of Swiss driver Volkan Ekinci, a car which has a 670hp 3,902cc V8 turbocharged engine developed from that of the Ferrari 488 GTB.

Friday's Ferrari

 This is a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's Ferrari California with a 4,297cc 32 valve V8 Ferrari F136 engine, and body designed by Pininfarina. The California was in production from 2008 to 2017. Behind it is a Ferrari F355 Spyder.

Friday's Ferrari

This is a photograph that I took at Club corner during the Corse Clienti Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017 where there were a series of Ferrari Challenge races, and track demonstrations by F1 cars.
It’s a 2002 Ferrari F2002, a car that was raced by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello in the 2002 season and the first four races of the 2003 season, and was powered by the 3,000cc Ferrari V10 Tipo 051 engine. In 2002 Michael Schumacher won the World Drivers' Championship by winning eleven of the seventeen races with Rubens Barrichello winning four of the remaining races. The Ferrari team won the World Constructors' Championship and scored more points than all the rest of the teams put together.

Friday's Ferrari

This is one of the cars that were displayed in the paddock at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It’s a 2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso which is powered by the Ferrari F140ED 6,262cc V12 engine and has 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with four-wheel drive and a four-wheel steering system. It was introduced in 2016 and ceased production in 2020.

It's a Ferrari 360 Spider, a model that was produced between 1999 and 2005 and has a 3,586cc V8 Ferrari F131 engine.

Friday's Ferrari

The Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017 celebrated Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary, and this is one of the cars that marked the occasion.
It’s a 2016 Ferrari 488 Challenge based on the 488 GTB and has a 3,902cc V8 engine.

Friday's Ferrari

This is a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's a Ferrari 458 Italia which has a 4,497cc V8 Ferrari F136 F engine. It was produced between 2010 and 2015 replacing the Ferrari F430, and was itself eventually replaced by the Ferrari 488.

Friday's Ferrari

This is a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's a Ferrari 360 Modena, a car that was introduced in 1999 replacing the Ferrari F355 and was superseded by the Ferrari F430 in 2004. It has the 3,586cc Ferrari F131 V8 engine with twin overhead camshafts per bank and five valves per cylinder.

This was one of the Ferraris at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's a 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello, which has a 5,474cc V12 engine and is one of 3,083 produced between 1996 and 2001.

Friday's Ferrari

This is a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's a 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia with a 4,308cc V8 engine and produced from 2007 to 2009. It was lighter than the standard Ferrari F430, and revised intake and exhaust systems and other engine improvements raised the power output from 490hp to 510hp. Michael Schumacher spent a lot of time testing the 430 Scuderia when it was being developed.

Friday's Ferrari

This is one of the F1 Ferraris that were part of the Corse Clienti demonstration at the Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone in September 2017. I took the photograph at Club Corner from the F1 International paddock.
It's a Ferrari 150° Italia as raced by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa in the 2011 season and is powered by the Ferrari 056 2,398cc V8 engine. The car only managed to finish in first place on one occasion, Alonso winning the British Grand Prix. He finished in fourth place in the Drivers' Championship and Massa sixth with the Championship being won by Sebastian Vettel in his Red Bull RB7. Ferrari took third place in the Constructors' Championship behind Red Bull and McLaren.

Friday's Ferrari

This is a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's a Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, one of 4,871 cars produced between 1994 and 1999. It has a 3,496cc V8 engine with twin overhead camshafts on each bank of cylinders and 5 valves per cylinder. The F355 replaced the Ferrari 348 and was itself replaced by the Ferrari 360. From 1997 the F355 became the first-ever road car to have the paddle operated F1 style gearbox transmission system.

Friday's Ferrari


Ferrari uses the Corse Clienti Ferrari Racing Days meetings at various circuits to allow a group of specially selected customers to test limited edition cars developed exclusively for the track and to race the latest of the Challenge series of cars providing feedback on the performance of the cars to Corse Clienti engineers, thus helping Ferrari to develop its cars for the future. This is a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017 where various of the Challenge cars were on display in the paddock.
It’s a Ferrari 360 Challenge model, a modified version of the 360 and was produced from 2000 to 2005 specifically for the Ferrari Challenge race series. It has a 3,586cc V8 engine.

Friday's Ferrari

This is one of the cars I photographed at the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's a Ferrari 458 Speciale, a high performance variant of the 458 Italia. It has the 4,497cc version of the F136 V8 engine with twin overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder. 3,000 of the cars were built between 2013 and 2015.

This is  a photograph that I took at the Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone in September 2017.
It's a 2013 Ferrari FF which has a 6,262cc V12 engine and is the first production Ferrari with four-wheel drive. A total of 2,291 vehicles were produced  between 2011 and 2016.
