This is one of the vehicles that
took part in the Greater Manchester Transport Society's Trans Lancs Historic
Vehicle Rally in Heaton Park, Manchester in September 1988.
It's a 1953 Seddon Mk5 and the
programme of the event said this about it:
EM 5505 Seddon Mk5/L platform.
1953. Entered by R. Sanders, Preston, Lancs. Rebuilt from scrap, this vehicle
is displayed in the livery of its first owner, and can be seen at many rallies
throughout the U.K.
