Friday's Ferrari

Here's a Ferrari photographed in the pit garage at the VSCC Richard Seaman Memorial Trophy meeting at Donington Park in June 2003 which isn't exactly what it appears to be.

It looks like a 1957 Ferrari 500 TRC but it actually started off life as a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE, being rebuilt in it's present form in the early 1980s and the serial number is 4873GT. The car has belonged to Stuart Anderson since 1997 and you can read something of the history of the car here on his website. Have a look down the list of contents on the website as well - I found it most interesting and informative.
