I took this photograph along The Avenue on the approach to the Cascades corner during the Richard Seaman Memorial Vintage Trophy Race at the Vintage Sports Car Club's meeting at Oulton Park in June 1963.
It's Pat Carmichael in his 1927 Bugatti Type 37A which has a 4-cylinder inline 1,496cc supercharged engine and 290 of these cars were built between 1926 and 1930, 67 of them with superchargers.
