AEC Routemaster

I photographed this vehicle at the Trans Lancs Historic Vehicle Rally at Heaton Park, Manchester in September 1993.

It's a 1962 AEC Routemaster, RM 1017, the iconic London bus, but it's not listed in the programme of the event. Though the 'Piccadilly' on the lower destination blind might indicate a London bus route, the places shown on the upper blind relate to a Manchester route, so the final destination is 'Piccadilly, Manchester'.
