Chevron B8

These two Chevron B8s were entered in the HSCC Atlantic Computers 2 Litre GT Championship race by Team Lazerlink at the Historic Sports Car Club's Spring Historic Race Meeting at Oulton Park in May 1986.
The one on the left is a 1967 car and was driven in the race by Tim Goss and on the right this 1968 car was driven by Richard Dodkins. A total of 44 Chevron B8s were built powered by different 4 cylinder 2 litre engines including Ford Cosworth FVA, BMW F10 and  Coventry Climax FVF.

1970 March 717

This was one of the competitors in the 30 minute long HSCC Pre'80 Endurance Challenge race at the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in August 2018 and I took this photograph during the Saturday afternoon qualifying session.
It's the 1970 March 717 driven in the race by Calum Lockie and Richard Dodkins and it's powered by an 8-litre Chevrolet big block V8 engine. The car was built as a 707 for the 1970 European Interserie Championship series, updated at the end of that season and renumbered as a 717.

March 717

This car took part in the 30 minute long HSCC Pre'80 Endurance Challenge race at the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in August 2018.
It's the 1970 March 717 driven by Calum Lockie and Richard Dodkins.
It's powered by an 8-litre Chevrolet big block V8 engine.
In the photographs above and below the car is seen in the pits during the Saturday morning free practice session.

The car was built as a 707 for the 1970 European Interserie Championship series, updated at the end of that season and renumbered as a 717.
Here the car's at Lodge Corner during the Saturday afternoon qualifying session.

Lola T70

This car took part in the RJB Mining Championship Race at the Historic Sports Car Club's Summer Race Meeting at Oulton Park in July 1995.
It's the 1967 Lola T70 of Richard Dodkins which the programme of the event says has a 5,700cc engine. The Lola T70 was powered by a variety of engines but this seems to suggest that it has the Chevrolet small-block 350 cu in unit, and it appears to be the Lola T70 Mk3, chassis SL73/109, that was offered for sale here by Hemmings. The car is pictured above at Lodge Corner during the race.

McLaren M1B

The SeeRed meeting at Donington Park in September 2006 included the 1 hour long Sports Racing Masters race, and this is one of the cars that took part in that race.
It's a 1966 5 litre McLaren M1B, driven in the race by Richard Dodkins.
Here's Richard Dodkins at Redgate corner during the morning practice session.

On 8 January 2015 I showed a photograph of the McLaren M1B of Chris Goodwin at the Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting of August 2012.
