1926 Bugatti Type 37

This car competed in the Richard Seaman Memorial Vintage Trophy Race at the Vintage Sports Car Club's meeting at Oulton Park in June 1981.

It's the 1926 Bugatti Type 37 of Wolf Zeuner, one of 290 cars built between 1926 and 1930. The Type 37 has a 4-cylinder inline 1,496cc engine and Wolf Zeuner's car has the unsupercharged version of that engine, as do about about three-quarters of the Type 37s built. The photograph was taken at Foster's corner, just before Knickerbrook on the Oulton Park short circuit.

Bugattis

There were four Bugattis entered in the Lancashire Automobile Club's annual Manchester to Blackpool Veteran and Vintage Car Run in June 1991 and two of them are pictured below in the Exchange Station car park in Manchester before the start of the Run.
This is Mike and Hugh Dickson's 4-cylinder 1,496cc 1926 Bugatti Type 40, chassis number 40652, and the programme of the event said this about it:

123   1929 Bugatti Type 40
          Reg: UF 4524    4 cylinder    1496cc
          (Hugh Dickson, London W14)
Jointly owned by Mike and Hugh Dickson,
it was first entered on the Run in 1987.

This is the cockpit of Barry Parkinson's 4-cylinder 1,496cc 1926 Bugatti Type 37, and the only other information about the car in the programme is that its registration number is DS 6894.

On 29 October 2015 I showed a photograph of this car at the 1986 Run.

Bugatti Type 35B

I photographed this car at the SeeRed meeting at Donington Park in September 2004.
It's Mike Preston's Bugatti, a replica of a Type 35B created from a Type 37 in 1995/96. The Type 37 used the chassis and body of the Type 35, but with a straight-4 engine of 1.5 litres instead of the 2.3 litre straight-8 engine of the Type 35B.

Bugatti Type 37

This is a photograph taken at the Exchange Station car park in Manchester before the Manchester to Blackpool Veteran and Vintage Car Run in June 1986.
It's a 1926 Bugatti Type 37, and the programme of the event had this to say about it:

84          1926 Bugatti Type 37
               Reg: DS 6894  4 cylinder  1496cc
               (Barry Parkinson, Ribchester)
Always nice to see a Bugatti on the Run. This one was imported from America in dismantled condition and has been rebuilt.

Bugatti T37

I photographed this car at the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in August 2002.
It's not listed in the programme of the event, but it's the 1929 Bugatti T37 of Paul Grant of Automobiles Vanderveken of Brussels.
