start of the Lancashire Automobile Club’s Manchester to Blackpool Veteran and
Vintage Car Run in June 1977.

It’s a 1913 Morris Oxford and the programme of
the event had this note about the car:
22 H.
Marquis, Lytham
1913 Morris 9 H.P. 4 Cylinders
Reputed to be the oldest Morris in private
hands, this is the fiftieth car made by Morris Motors. It is painted in the
same manner as one given by William Morris to his wife.
