Jensen CV8

I photographed this car at the Vintage Sports Car Club's meeting at Oulton Park in July 2015.

It's a 1965 Jensen C-V8, a car that superseded the Jensen 541S and was produced from 1962 to 1966. The 541S had straight-six 4-litre Austin engine, but the C-V8 was powered by the Chrysler Golden Commando V8 engine, a 5.9 litre (361 cu in) unit in the early cars, but from 1964 by the 6.3 litre (383 cu in) version. The CV8 was replaced in 1966 by the Jensen Interceptor, which continued to use the Chrysler engine.
