Steyr Puch 500

I photographed this car at the VSCC's Boulogne and Hawthorn Trophies Race Meeting at Oulton Park in June 2006.
It's a Steyr Puch 500, and the 'M' on the number plate suggests that it was first registered between 1 August 1973 and 31 July 1974. The MoT record says that it was registered in May 1974, but that the date of manufacture was 1972. The Steyr Puch 500 was introduced in 1957 and used the Fiat 500 body with Steyr Puch's own two-cylinder flat 500cc engine. Production of the 500 continued until 1975.
