Here's a photograph of a car that competed in the Historic Car Championship Race at the Aston Martin Owners Club meeting at Oulton Park in September 1993.
It's Clive Richards' 1956 HWM Jaguar, which I always associate with Phil Scragg who competed with it for some years.
