It's the 1927 HRG 1½ litre of P.C.Mitchell which has a 4-cylinder inline 1,496cc Meadows engine and was driven in the two races by Andrew Mitchell. The HRG company was founded in 1935 by Ted Halford, Guy Robins and Ron Godfrey and a total of 241 hand built cars were made, the last one in 1956.
