This vehicle took part in the Greater Manchester Transport Society's Trans Lancs Historic Vehicle Rally at Heaton Park, Manchester in September 1998.
It's the 1937 Jowett 8hp Dropside Pick-up of Michael Fishwick and has a 946cc side-valve flat twin engine. The programme of the event said this about the vehicle:

Used for over 50 years by Roy Braddock in connection with his Jowett Garage in Marple and is still in
mainly original condition. Now only used for vintage rallies and shows.
