Friday's Ferrari

The SeeRed meeting at Donington Park in September 2005 included 'A Demonstration of Italian Racing Cars' which consisted of some laps of the track by a variety of Maseratis, Ferraris and a Lancia D50. This is one of the Ferraris that took part in the demonstration.
It's Nick Mason's 1978 Ferrari 312 T3, chassis number 034 and the car Gilles Villeneuve drove for most of the 1978 racing season.

Friday's Ferrari

The Christie's International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1992 featured a special display of Ferraris in the paddock and some of these were driven in track demonstrations by former Scuderia Ferrari drivers. This is one of those cars at Luffield Corner during one of the demonstration runs.
It’s a 1978 Ferrari 312 T3 and is being driven by Jody Scheckter who drove the car in the first 2 races of the 1979 season alongside Gilles Villeneuve. In the 1978 season Gilles Villeneuve and Carlos Reutemann drove the car in all but the first 2 races, Villeneuve winning the last race of the season in Canada while Reutemann won the United States West Grand Prix at Long Beach, the British Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.

Friday's Ferrari

This was one of the cars displayed in the 'Tribute to Ferrari' at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1997.
It’s the 2,992cc flat-12 1978 Ferrari 312 T3, chassis 034, that was driven by Gilles Villeneuve in the 1978 F1 season and was owned in 1997 by Nick Mason. Gilles Villeneuve won one Grand Prix that season, in Canada, and ended up in ninth place in the 1978 World Drivers’ Championship; his team mate Carlos Reutemann won four of the races and was third in the Championship, Ferrari finishing in second place in the World Constructors’ Championship.
