Airbus A330

This is an aircraft I've been looking out for since I found out about the flightradar24 site and on 13th May 2015 I spotted it for the first time approaching Manchester Airport.
It's an Airbus A330-243 of Etihad Airways in the livery of Premiership Football Club Manchester City
It passed over Hyde at 4.44pm on that day when landing at Manchester Airport
It was flight EY21 from Abu Dhabi and the aircraft registration number is A6-EYE
Etihad Airways is the main sponsor of Manchester City Football Club, and the managing director Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is, I understand, the brother of the owner of Manchester City, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Three Aeroplanes

Photographs I took on 8 April 2015 of three aeroplanes passing over the house when coming in to land at Manchester Airport.
At 2.46pm this is Thomas Cook Airlines flight TCX59GJ from Venice to Manchester. It's an Airbus A321-211 and the registration number is G-TCDK.

At 3.05pm this is Aer Lingus flight EI208 from Dublin to Manchester. It's an Airbus A320-214 and the registration number is EI-EDS.

At 3.11pm this is Etihad Airways flight EY21 from Abu Dhabi to Manchester, It's a Boeing 777-3FX(ER) and the registration number is A6-ETI.

United Arab Emirates Airlines

Here's a couple of photographs I took of two aeroplanes on Wednesday last week within a couple of minutes of each other, one landing at, and the other taking off from, Manchester Airport. Aircraft landing at the airport come over our house at about 3,500 feet, and when going to eastern Europe and beyond double back after taking off and pass over at about 10,000 feet.

This is the first photograph, taken at 1:52pm. It's the Etihad Airways flight EY21 from Abu Dhabi and it's a Boeing 777-3FXER, registration A6-ETD.

This is the second photograph, taken at 1:54pm, and it's the Emirates flight EK18 to Dubai. This is an Airbus A380-861, registration A6-EDT.

What struck me about these planes was the similarity of the registration numbers, so much so that I had to check that I'd not written one of them down incorrectly.
