This was one of the cars on display at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1995.
It didn't compete in any of the races at the meeting and there's no mention of it in the programme of the event, but it's a 1908 Itala GP car which has a 4-cylinder inline 12 litre engine. The number 61 on the front and side of the car are possibly from when it had competed at a recent VSCC meeting. I remember reading about Cecil Clutton taking part in VSCC events with one of these cars when I was a lot younger, but my motor racing visits at that time were restricted to Oulton Park and Aintree and I never saw the car at either of those circuits. The car next to it is a 1932 Alvis Speed Twenty SA Tourer.
