Matra MS670B

This car competed in the Invitation Class in the Pre-1972 Le Mans Car Race at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1998.

It's a 1974 Matra MS670B designed by Bernard Boyer and powered by a 2,999cc V12 engine. The 1973 and 1974 Le Mans 24 Hour races were both won by one of these cars driven by Henri Pescarolo and Gérard Larrousse, and the 1972 race was won by Henri Pescarolo and Graham Hill in an earlier version of the car. At this Silverstone meeting the car was entered for the race by Lucida International Ltd and driven by Abba Kogan.
