This car competed in the Visage Pre '72 Le Mans Car Race at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in August 1996.
It's Ivan Scotti's 1966 2-litre Porsche 906, and the programme of the event said this about the 906:
The Porsche 906 was the first product of the company's new Research & Development man, Ferdinand Piëch. A tubular-framed car, also known as the Carrera 6, it was raced to numerous Group 4 successes in the mid-1960s and developed into an equally successful Group 6 racing version, the 910.
I've featured the Porsche 906 twice before, on 24 February 2015 and 26 October 2015.
