I photographed this car in the paddock at the VSCC's Hawthorn Memorial Trophies meeting at Oulton Park in July 2015. It wasn't competing in any of the races.
It's a 1913 Chalmers Model 17
There's an excellent Antique Automobile Club of America website here with lots of photographs of this car competing in various events, of trips around the country, and of work carried out on the car, all posted by 'Andy' the owner. It's well worth a read but allow yourself plenty of time to go through it all!
