This car was one of the Class R American Car entrants in the Trans Lancs Historic Vehicle Rally at Heaton Park, Manchester in September 1998.
It's not listed in the programme of the event, but it's a Lincoln Continental Fifth Generation, and if the 'R' at the end of the numberplate is an indication of when it was built then it's a 1976/77 model.
