BRM P160B

Here's a couple of photographs I took on practice day at the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in May 1972.

It's Peter Gethin's BRM P160B being wheeled into the paddock after a practice run. As you can see the weather wasn't being particularly kind that day.

Here's Peter Gethin rounding Old Hall Corner on his way to qualifying for pole position. In the race he unfortunately retired after 10 laps and the race was won by Denny Hulme in a McLaren M19A. This was the last race to be held at Oulton Park featuring current F1 cars.
