1965 Porsche 904 GTS

This car competed in the Visage Pre '72 Le Mans Car Race at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in August 1996.
It's the 1965 Porsche 904 GTS, chassis #904-096, of Martyn Konig which was originally owned by Robert Rhodes of Fresno, California. It later went to George Thwing of La Jolla who ran it in SCCA events and who eventually replaced the 2-litre flat-4 engine with a flat-6 one of the same capacity, as fitted in the Porsche 904/6. In 1968 it went to Harry Isaacs of Beverley Hills who sold the car in 1989 to Martyn Konig.

1965 Porsche 904

This was one of the competitors in the Visage Pre '72 Le Mans Car Race at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in August 1996.

It's the 1965 Porsche 904 of Martyn Konig which originally went to the USA where it stayed until it was acquired by Martyn Konig in 1989 and brought to the UK. It's chassis 904-096 and while in the USA the 1,966cc flat four engine was replaced by a 2 litre flat six engine as fitted to the Porsche 904/6.

1984 Porsche 956B

This car competed in the British Empire Trophy race for Group C Endurance Cars at the Silverstone Historic Festival meeting in August 2001.
It's the 1984 Porsche 956B of Martyn Konig that was driven in the 2 hour long race by Rob Wilson and Martyn Konig. This is the Skoal Bandit Porsche & John Fitzpatrick Racing Team car that finished in third place in the 1984 Le Mans 24 Hour race driven by David Hobbs, Philippe Streif and Sarel van der Merwe, and has a 2.65 litre turbocharged flat-six engine.
