This is a photograph that I
took before the start of the Lancashire Automobile Club’s Manchester to
Blackpool Veteran and Vintage Car Run in June 1979.

It’s not listed in the
programme of the event, but it’s a 1924 Star, a car that was produced between
1922 and 1928 in the USA. The DVLA record says that it is taxed up to July 2027
and has a 1,945cc engine.
