The Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in August 2008 included a race for Classic Racing Cars that included classes for most types of single seater racing cars, and the car below competed as a Class C car: 'Single seater racing cars over 500cc built and raced before 31/12/66'.
It's Rodger Newman's 1965 Brabham BT14, chassis FL-6-65, with a 1,498cc engine according to the programme of the event. The BT14 was designed for the then popular Formula Libre racing (hence the 'FL' in the chassis designation) but was raced in period, and since, with a variety of mainly Ford engines in different racing categories, even with a 1½ litre engine in Formula One races during 1965.
