Fiat Dino

This car was in the middle of a row of Ferraris in the paddock at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1998.
It's a Fiat Dino Spider, a car produced by Fiat in 1966 using the Ferrari 2 litre V6 engine because Ferrari needed to produce the engine in sufficient numbers in a production car so that it could be homologated for use in Formula 2 racing. Ferrari later used this 2 litre engine, and the larger 2.4 litre one in the Dino 206 and 246 cars, which eventually became the Ferrari Dino 206 and 246.
